Information You Enter
Search Terms
When you type a name, county, state, or similar term into a search tool, that query may be sent to the third-party provider that powers the tool. Martin County Inmate Population does not keep its own log of those search terms. The provider's own privacy rules apply to what it receives.
Messages
If you email us or submit a contact message, we use the information in that message to review and answer it. We do not share those messages outside our organization unless a valid legal requirement calls for disclosure.
Automatic Technical Data

How Data Is Used
- To keep the site available, readable, and reasonably fast.
- To pass search requests to the correct partner tool.
- To learn which Martin County inmate, jail, court, and facility pages visitors use.
- To find broken links, loading problems, and other technical issues.
- To support advertising that may be based on general interests.
Outside Websites
Pages may link to Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, Martin County offices, Kentucky Court of Justice portals, KY DOC KOOL, VINELink, BOP, ICE, and third-party search tools. Once you leave this site, the privacy policy of the destination website controls what happens there.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure ad performance or show interest-based ads across websites. That activity happens through their tools, not through an official Martin County, Kentucky system.
